Phlox Blue Paradise

Phlox Blue Paradise

Phlox paniculata ‘Blue Paradise’ is an award-winning, herbaceous perennial celebrated for its richly coloured, fragrant flowers and excellent resistance to powdery mildew. Introduced in 1990 by renowned Dutch garden designer Piet Oudolf, it has become a favourite for summer borders, flowering reliably from July through to September.

The large flower heads open violet-blue with a dark central eye and a small white centre. Colour intensity shifts with the light, appearing bluer in the morning and evening and taking on softer purple-blue tones in full sun. The strongly scented blooms attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, adding both beauty and life to the garden.
