The Lucano Step Stool is the winner of the RED DOT DESIGN awards for its simple, practical design. Folding down to 6" deep it is small enough to easily tuck away, but with a choice of colours to suit all tastes it is stylish enough to leave out as a practical and ornamental stool. We use them as occasional chairs at Niwaki HQ.
Incredibly light, and perfect for reaching high cupboards and shelves. Not so good in the garden though.

Designed by Chiaki Murata in Japan, these beautiful step ladders are light, stable, stylish and functional.
The 4 step is great for around the house, getting you right up to the highest overhead cupboards, and folding to only 6" deep it’s easy to tuck away when not in use. But why anyone would want to hide these stylish steps is beyond us
